    Gold Medallion (Advanced Lifesaving)

Are you up to the challenge?

The Gold Medallion is the highest award a lifesaver can attain in surf life saving. It requires a high degree of fitness along with an extensive knowledge of surf life saving techniques and skills. In particular, the Assessment for the Gold Medallion is one of the most gruelling set of tests, rescues and scenarios for any award. Fewer than 5% of all lifesavers succeed in gaining their Gold Medallion.  For more information contact Jonathan Farrell on 0416 226 967 or go to here.

Spinal Management Certificate and Defibrillation Certificate Awards

This season every club must have members on each patrol holding their Spinal Management & Defibrillation Certificate. Several courses have already been conducted during the off-season and many club members now have their Spinal Management and / or Defibrillation awards. If you missed out on the earlier courses and would like to gain either or both of these awards, please download the Training Enrollment Form (click here), fill it in for each course you want to attend (one form per course) and return it to Karla as soon as possible. Also, you can contact the Chief Instructor, Karla Campbell via email at . If you want any further information about the courses, call Jonathan Farrell on 0416 226 967, who runs the courses.
