ARTC Upgrade Sessions
If you hold the older ARC award, then you are eligbible to upgrade to the new ARTC award via a short upgrade course.
Two upgrade courses are scheduled (you only need to attend one) on Sundays - 25th September / 9th October from 12.30 - 3pm.
Email the Chief Instructor to book in
For both upgrades there is a workbook that needs to be completed. These are available here:
Download the ARTC Defib and Suction upgrade workbook and complete it as far as possible before you come to the Upgrade workshop. Please ask our Chief Instructor know by email if you want to upgrade your awards or if you have any queries about the upgrade.
Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate (ARTC)
ARC & Defibrillation awards were merged last season into a single award – the Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate. In addition, a new component – Suction – has been added to the award to bring it into alignment with International Lifesaving and VET standards. The new ARTC course has been streamlined to provide education in all these techniques using a single Learning Guide. The ARTC course takes around 10 hours to complete over 5 sessions, followed by the ARTC Assessment at North Curl Curl club on the last Tuesday of the month from 6pm onwards.
If you are interested in gaining your ARTC award,
- contact our Chief Instructor and download the ARTC Learner's Guide here: Learner Guides
